Ian Henning - Principal Dentist
GDC 66093, Qualification BDS WALES 1991
Principal dentist and owner of the practice, Ian qualified from the university of Wales dental school in Cardiff in 1990. He worked in several practices as an associate in Wales, Surrey and London before opening the Family Dental Health Centre in Raynes Park in March 2000.
From the start the aim was to make the practice a welcoming environment with an emphasis placed on prevention rather than cure.
Over the last few years Ian has completed the Tipton advanced restorative course in London and also the IPSO (international partnership for the study of occulsion) these courses increases lan's understanding in to more complex and cosmetic dental procedures.
He also keeps up to date with general advances in dentistry by attending a wide range of post graduate courses, lan's main aim is to continue to provide minimal interventive and preventive dentistry wherever possible.
Outside of work Ian enjoys time with his wife and two sons, cooking and entertaining. He also plays regular league squash. Sadly living locally, several patients play in the same club and seem to enjoy beating him.
